The stock market was poised and ready for a huge sell-off which is natural for all markets and is based on the cycle of supply and demand. However, every time the stock market goes down some people blame the president, the government or anything they can. In my opinion, the stock market sell of is not caused entirely by the trade war and is also not a bad thing but a normal and natural phenomenon. Something would be “wrong” or ‘artificial” if these natural cycles were NOT continually happening on schedule.
