Exciting products from Samsung in 2009

THE public will be treated to more exciting and meaningful innovations with Samsung next year.
This according to Glenn Martin Glinoga, Samsung Philippines
corporate marketing head. Although he is not in a position to elaborate further, Glinoga says the new products which will be out next year is part of the company's slogan: Imagination Lives.
"The products you least expect to be made will be available in 2009. We will make your dreams come true," he said in an interview during the opening of the Samsung concept store at the 3rd level of Gaisano Mall in Davao City, Philippines recently.
Samsung over the years has managed to maintain a niche in market and is fast becoming a household name.
"The company has invested meaningful innovations in all its products. We have redefined categories unheard of before," he said.
Glinoga also says that they have captured half of the tv market and presently number one in LCD, flat TVs which was
launched last month. This has propelled the growth of the company further, he says.
Samsung's full HD LCD TV series 8 has advance features which makes it exciting.
"It goes beyond media solutions. Aside from being able to
watch your usual TV shows and DVDs, it has three features that are new in the market," he said.
Among these are the wiselink pro which allows you to view or listen to previously saved photos and music through USB port. The series 8 also has a built-in memory content library with several programs like games, recipes and fitness programs. Also, it allows you to watch watch the same show with different tv units through the wireless
link.
"We have done our research in our product developments and we are working to meet those needs," he said.
He says the showroom at Gaisano Mall is for the wide range of Samsung products.
"What you see and what is made available for you and
what to expect from us," he said.
Meanwhile, Cathy Bangayan, of the Metro Plaza Group is equally excited with the Samsung concept store She says the showroom is not just for high-end products but for the low-end as well.
"Samsung has made appliances more affordable like their HD LCD TV," she said. "The showroom is to make people aware with what is new."
The concept store was awarded to Ruben and Cathy Bangayan of Metro Plaza Group due to its long-standing excellent business performance.
"They chose which dealers to award the store base on reputation. And also we have been going business with them for so long and they saw the potential in us," she said.
Samsung concept store is the first in Southern Mindanao
and the third in the Philippines, the first was opened in Cagayan de Oro City and second in Cebu City.
Bangayan says with the Samsung showroom Dabawenyos need not travel to metropolitan Manila for the latest updates and innovations on
Samsung products.
