3 Wealth Creation Books Worthy to be on Your Nightstand

If you ask anyone if they want to be rich, the answer will always be a huge YES! But many who aspires to be wealthy are not on the path to become rich. Many are just simply dreaming and not doing things like investing, saving or working industriously.

These books are essential to transform your mind in order to become a successful and wealthy person. You may have read them before but these books are all worthy of another read just in case we lost track of why do we want to be financially and emotionally well-off.

The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles

All the success and personal development literature of the last 90 years owes a great debt to The Science of Getting Rich. The book was published almost a hundred years ago but is still in print today. Most self-help and motivational writers and teachers cite Wattles’ book as the source of their inspiration. Rhonda Byrnes, author and filmmaker cites The Science of Getting Rich as her inspiration for creating The Secret.

According to USA Today, the text is "divided into 17 short, straight-to-the-point chapters that explain how to overcome mental barriers, and how creation, not competition, is the hidden key to wealth attraction."

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

This book came out during the Great Depression in 1937. The book was the collaboration of Hill and business tycoon Andrew Carnegie. Carnegie asked Hill to interview more than 500 wealthy achievers to find out the common threads of their success thus came out The Law of Success followed by Think and Grow Rich which sold over 30 million copies.

Think and Grow Rich consists of Thirteen Steps to Financial Success. Each step is thoroughly explained using examples, testimonials and lessons. It took Napoleon Hill 20 years to gather all the success stories of famous personalities such as John Rockefeller, Thomas Edison, Woodrow Wilson and many others.

Many people consider Think and Grow Rich to be the ancestor of all self-development or wealth creation books.  The essence of the book is Napoleon Hill’s famous statement: “Everything your mind can conceive, you can achieve”.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

In Robert Kiyosaki’s book, he helps us understand the real purpose of education. Published in 1997, the book aimed to create public interest in finance and the advocacy of owning the system or means of production, rather than being a regular employee. The book highlights the different attitudes to money, work and life between the Rich Dad and the Poor Dad.

Though the book received jabs from critics, it reached New York Times and Wall Street Journal’s best seller list.

I have huge respect for Robert Kiyosaki.

But he does have a lot of haters out there saying that his advices are foolish and BS.

But I still believe in him. He changed my life.
